Overview
The job holder will be responsible for developing and maintaining 360VUZ video streaming platform based on the latest technologies and practices, collaborating with the web and mobile teams to meet the goals and objectives of the technology department, and be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, collaborative and iterative programming environment.
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any related field.
- 2-4 years of proven working experience in web development.
- Have solid expertise for different web technologies including PHP, Ajax, MySQL, MongoDB,
and Redis.
- Have a deep understanding of different software architectural patterns with good focus on
MVC.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, mainly ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
- Having past experience in working with modern software development methodologies such
as Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/GitFlow and SourceTree.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud services.
- Proficiency in managing Linux environment.
- Having Good experience in Node.js and its related frameworks is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Build the architecture of 360VUZ platform.
- Develop Backend components of 360VUZ applications.
- Working alongside with the mobile development team to develop, maintain and test APIs.
- Working alongside graphic designers to translate web designs into tangible features.
- Maintain code integrity and organization.
- Design and develop APIs for different application environments including Web, Mobile, and
VR.
- Collaborate with the Head of Engineering on meeting & implementing both business and
technical requirements.
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
Project description:
What we are planning for is building a website and Mobile App that Live stream 360° video content.
The website and the App will be Live broadcasting different religious sites using multiple 360° cameras located in Mecca & Madina Cities, KSA, where the broadcast will be over 24/7.
From our end, we will be covering the setup for the Live Streaming pipeline. However, the candidates will be responsible for building the website & Mobile from Frontend & Backend
