Overview
We are a fast-growing eCommerce IT company based in Sofia with clients primarily in Denmark, specialized in e-Commerce solutions built on Magento 2. Apart from building and supporting webshops, we also develop and maintain our own eCommerce modules that are used by more than 1000 webshops.
Required skills:
• 7+ years development experience
• Extensive experience with Magento 1 and 2
• Deep experience with server-side application development in PHP using frameworks like Symfony,
Cake and Zend
• Upper-intermediate level of English is a must
• Some experience with other server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, and Java
• Experience with Linux systems administration, web server configuration (Nginx/Apache), SQL and
NoSQL databases, and other common web stack technologies
• Solid expertise with open web standards technologies, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, including jQuery,
KnockoutJS and other libraries
• Experience using Git
• Strong experience and interest with open-source CMS tools
• Experience with PrestaShop, WooCommerce, Shopify and/or OpenCart will be considered a plus
• Experience with other component-based CMS tools
• Experience with MVC frameworks is a plus
• Remain communicative and clear under tight deadlines
• Have strong personal organization and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate our Magento resources in-house as well as externally.
• Participate in management decisions about technology choices, internal processes and expansion.
• Write clean, unit-tested code with an eye towards performance and maintainability
• Analyze requirements, wireframes, and APIs of related applications to propose integration solutions
• Assist team in decomposing user stories into tasks, estimating the effort, and planning sprints
• Work with team leads to identify and address project impediments
• Research and share industry innovations and trends
• Strive constantly to improve the health of our applications with forward-thinking code improvements,
process refinement, and new tooling
