About the Role
We’re seeking a strong backend engineer with experience building and running ML systems in production. You’ll develop high-performance, secure ML services, and when needed, work with enterprise customers to enable these systems in their environments. This role bridges product engineering and real-world delivery, helping customers succeed with Dynamo AI’s technology.
Location: Hybrid — San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance, secure, and reliable ML services adhering to industry-leading standards.
- Understand customer needs and industry trends in AI safety and compliance. Collaborate with the team to shape and execute technical strategies.
- Support customer deployments by helping deploy or integrate Dynamo AI services in their Kubernetes environments.
- Partner with the ML team to streamline and optimize the transition from experimentation to production for SOTA ML models and AI solutions.
- Participate in architecture reviews and influence the evolution of our AI infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building AI or ML-powered products or infrastructure.
- Strong skills in backend service development (Python or TypeScript) and API design.
- Hands-on experience with containerized systems (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with ML model deployment.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Comfortable engaging directly with customers when needed.
- Passion for trustworthy, secure, and ethical AI development.
