Project description:
We are looking for a Middle/Senior Python Software Engineer to join Levi9’s Back-End development team and work on the project for a Dutch client – Sendcloud (a modern shipping platform).

Sendcloud is an all-around modern shipping platform that connects to 80+ shop systems and carriers. It uses automation to simplify label creation, tracking, returns, picking & packing, and much more.
This new project requires collaborative interactions with the core Dutch team. They are going to work on the development and extension of a generic API that will be used for interaction between the platform and middleware layer, while the middleware team is going to develop middleware micro-services that are performing communications with Carrier via custom APIs.
Responsibilities:
– Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code;
– be involved in module refactoring;
– building toward an efficient service-based architecture/ architecture reorganization;
– divide existing service into a lot of microservices;
– collaborate with the Dutch team and different departments (DevOps, QA, FrontEnd, Support, etc), etc.
Required skills:
— Strong knowledge of Python 3.6 or higher;
— 2+ years of commercial experience in developing and deploying web applications;
— Unit test and debugging skills;
— Good understanding of the deployment process;
— Upper-Intermediate English level;
— Good soft skills and experience in day-to-day communications with the client.
As a plus:
— Experience in optimization for high-load / high-performance;
— Experience with AWS infrastructure;
— Confident knowledge of FastAPI framework.
