Why we Mistplay
Mistplay is a loyalty platform for mobile gamers. Think of Mistplay as Netflix but for Games.
Every great company has an enduring mission. Being a unique company that serves both players and studios, we defined two core missions.
Users
Our user-centric mission is to enable players to earn rewards while discovering new digital worlds at the tap of a button. Users get to discover new games through us plus while they’re playing games, they earn units which then can be redeemed for gift cards.
Business
Our business-focused mission is to empower studios in reaching and engaging the best players for their games around the world. We have over 20 million downloads so we can offer them a good volume of users. Considering users are rewarded for playing games, they keep returning to Mistplay and become recurrent users which is exactly what the clients are looking for (good quality users).
What You’ll Be Doing:
– Setting goals, spec writing, managing project execution, A/B testing, defining roll-out strategy
– Conduct research and develop a good understanding of the customer’s needs, new technologies, trends in the market, and competitors.
– Participate in all phases of the development life cycle, including analysis, design, testing, and integration.
– Understand the business logic and company KPIs when prioritizing tasks.
– Handle operational incidents professionally and insightfully (e.g. work together with the other team to quickly bring resolution, with clear external and internal communication)
– Anticipate implementation challenges with each every proposal.
– Understand how to successfully A/B test features, and continually suggests ways to improve performance during the testing phases.
– Actively coaches and supports junior members of the team
– Works with clients and the broader business to validate the feedback loop
– Identifies opportunities for improvement in the portfolio
What We’re Looking For:
- +3 years of experience of Product Management
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Experience designing and leading a team of Engineers
- Experience building mobile interfaces
- Self-motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative problem solver. Able to identify real obstacles and viable solutions
- Data-driven – able to analyze problems and evaluate solutions based on data
- Familiarity with MEAN stack (Mongo DB, Express.js, Angular.js, Node.js) and the mobile and gaming space.
For senior PMs, high priorities are:
- Mobile app experience
- Web 3 is lower but up there
- Mobile sdk would be great
- Gaming industry or knowledge is interestingIf you have 2 of 4 let’s proceed!
Salary range:
$100,000 – $150,000 CAD depending on experience
