About the role
Reporting Structure
Primary Working Relationships: Senior Management Team, Business Leaders
Formal Reporting Line: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
The Senior AI Developer is a strategic execution role responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing AI systems that support enterprise-wide initiatives, transformation programs, and cross-portfolio intelligence platforms.
This role goes beyond traditional AI development. It serves as a central technical AI function, translating strategic priorities into enterprise-scale, production-grade AI capabilities that enable decision intelligence, automation, and value creation.
Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic AI Initiatives (Primary Accountability)
- Act as the technical owner for high-priority AI initiatives driven by senior management.
- Convert strategic business objectives into executable AI architectures, platforms, and products.
- Rapidly prototype, validate, and scale AI solutions supporting priorities such as:
- Strategic intelligence and decision support
- AI-driven performance management
- Automation of complex business workflows
- Cross-entity analytics and foresight systems
2. Enterprise AI Architecture & Platforms
- Design end-to-end AI platforms spanning data ingestion, ML/LLM pipelines, orchestration, deployment, and monitoring.
- Architect reusable AI components for use across 2PointZero entities and investments.
- Define reference architectures for:
- Classical ML systems
- Generative AI applications (LLMs, RAG, agents)
- AI-powered analytics and decision engines
3. Advanced AI & Generative AI Development
- Lead hands-on development of AI and GenAI solutions, including:
- Machine learning models (forecasting, recommendations, optimization)
- LLM-based applications, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows
- Conversational AI and AI copilots for business and leadership teams
- Ensure systems are robust, explainable, secure, and production-ready.
4. Generative Business Intelligence & Decision Systems
- Build GenBI capabilities for leadership teams, including:
- Automated insight generation
- Narrative analytics and dashboards
- Conversational access to enterprise data
- Embed AI into decision-making processes, not just reporting layers.
5. Technology Partnership & Governance
- Partner with the CTO and senior technology leaders to ensure alignment with:
- Group technology standards
- Security, compliance, and governance frameworks
- Long-term platform scalability
- Contribute to AI governance, architectural reviews, and roadmap definition.
6. Cloud, MLOps & Operational Excellence
- Deploy AI systems on AWS, Azure, and GCP with focus on scale, resilience, and cost efficiency.
- Implement MLOps and DevOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Drive operational efficiency through automation, microservices, and optimized infrastructure usage.
7. Leadership, Mentorship & Capability Building
- Act as a technical authority and mentor for AI engineers and developers.
- Support internal capability building through accelerators and reusable frameworks.
- Track emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption where strategically relevant.
Required Experience & Profile
- 20+ years of technology experience with deep exposure to enterprise systems, architecture, and AI.
- Proven track record delivering AI solutions from strategy through scalable production.
Strong expertise in:
- Classical ML and applied analytics
- Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and agent frameworks
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior leadership on mission-critical initiatives.
- Strong architectural judgment, execution discipline, and business orientation.
