The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled data scientist to join our data science engineering team, whose mandate is to solve complex data science problems for consumer-facing applications in the online advertisement domain.

The data science product team plays a key role in AMG’s business, owning projects from ideation to production, and collaborating with our engineering teams to build scalable solutions. We have mountains of language and user-interaction data that we use to drive breakthroughs both in performance marketing and the creation of engaging search and content experiences.

  • As a member of the team, you will collaborate across the organization within a culture that values pragmatic solutions and moving at a fast pace.
  • You will be working on business strategic efforts that directly contribute to business’s success.
  • You will build automated data science tools for purchasing targeted ad traffic, and composing effective online ads using advanced statistical analysis, machine learning, and Generative AI.

What You Bring to Us:

A master’s degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Maths or related fields with 5+ years of relevant experience
Strong communication and presentation skills, advanced English
● Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in leveraging data insights.
Proficiency in data analysis and predictive modeling including regression, clustering,
classification, and deep learning algorithms to drive insights and decision-making
● Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with data science libraries.
● Proficiency in NLP, source code & CI/CD tools such as GitLab , SQL , Jupyter Notebooks for
streamlined model development and deployment.

● Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts and metrics, and ability to translate
business objectives into data-driven problems.
● Familiarity with generative AI APIs and models such as LLaMA for language
understanding, DALL·E for image creation, Amazon Bedrock for scalable machine
learning, and Langchain for integrating language models into applications.
● Intellectual curiosity and continuous striving to learn

What You’ll Do

● Develop and implement models for predictive analysis and optimization of ad buying on online platforms such as Facebook and Google.
● Automate and optimize the process of creating, posting, and monitoring ads ensuring maximum ROI through clicks and conversions using data insights.
● Work closely with the marketing team to understand key campaign objectives and marketing tactics that could influence your approach
● Continuously analyze campaign performance data to refine strategies and models.
● Apply advanced modeling techniques, including clustering, classification, and deep
learning, to enhance ad targeting and Ad ROI.
● Leverage generative AI APIs to create compelling content and images for
advertisements.
● Implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment of machine learning models.

  • Our Tech Stack: Python, NLP, Kubernetes, AWS, GitLab, Pandas, SQL, OpenAI, Jupyter
  • Salary: up to $6500
  • ASAP position, we need you immediately 🙂
  • Working schedule: 4 hours of overlap – work up to 1 pm ET is a must (it’s up to 8 pm Kyiv time)
  • Agile methodology, daily stand-ups
  • Team of 9 people: 4-5 senior scientists, analysts, and engineers, most of them are from the US (ET, PT timezone)

  • PTO: 18 working days of vacation & 10 days of sick leaves
