About Our Customer and Project:

The customer is an oncology-focused health informatics solutions company with the mission to help patients get access to the best treatments by leveraging clinical and molecular data to accelerate the discovery, development, and delivery of tailored and more personalized therapies. Their approach is to transform cancer care through application of genome analysis of patient-derived tumor specimens, and translating novel molecular findings combined with clinical insights for the actualization of precision oncology therapeutics and diagnostics.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of work as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
  • Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
  • Experience with Azure platform
  • Hands-on experience with T-SQL, ETL
  • Experience with RDBMS
  • Knowledge of Python programming languages
  • Knowledge of Spark
  • Data engineering certification (e.g IBM Certified Data Engineer) is a plus
  • English level: Upper-Intermediate

  • Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling

  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition
  • Develop analytical tools and programs
  • Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects
