Required Qualifications:

• Technical background (software, computers).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with front end development.
• Excellent knowledge of HTML / CSS3 / XHTML / XML / JSON.
• At least 2 years experience with JavaScript/AJAX.
• Experience with jQuery, JS Framework, and jQuery UI.
• Good understanding of OO Javascript.
• Experience using browser debugging tools.
• Experience slicing graphics for pixel-perfect design/development (Photoshop).
• Must have experience using version control systems such as CVS, SVN or GIT.
• Understanding of the entire software development life cycle.
• Demonstrated an understanding of the entire software development life cycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with RequireJS, BackboneJS and / or AngularJS.
• Practical knowledge of NodeJS (NWJS).
• Knowledge of CoffeeScript.
• Knowledge of CSS pre-processors (LESS, SASS).
• Knowledge of Single-page application architecture.
• Responsive design/development.
• Fast learner, adapts easily to changing environments.
• Experience working within an Agile development process (Scrum, XP, TDD, BDD, BEHAT, Kanban, etc).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities:

• Requirements and project specs analysis and estimations.
• Maintain and improve the front-end for existing products.
• Apply programming principles like DRY, KISS & SRP, as well as write clean and maintainable code.
• Create new UX with AngularJS or alternatives based on REST Services.
• Code review and projects architecture improvement.
• Maintain excellent knowledge base of industry trends and developments.
