Product company mdf commerce inc. is a global leader in the development of a broad set of software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions that optimize and accelerate commercial interactions between buyers and sellers. Our E-Commerce team is looking for a DevOps specialist to join the team. You’ll be a key member of our product team, focusing on the developer experience and software automation. In addition, you’ll partner closely with our Cloud Ops team to ensure we’re delivering the right tools to support them in deploying and managing the platform for our customers.



Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT, and preferably 2+ years of the following:
  • Experience with CI/CD is required (Azure DevOps Pipeline is preferred);
  • Experience in using Azure Cloud (Storage, VMs, Functions, Front Door, Resource Manager);
  • Production experience with Serverless Environment (e.g. Paas, Kubernetes);
  • Production experience deploying Application and API Gateway;
  • Experience deploying App Services and Single Page Applications.

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with C# or Java programming languages;
  • Experience with Docker and k8s technology;
  • Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests;

Main responsibilities:

  • Engage with members of the Product, Services, and Cloud Ops teams to understand our key needs around development efficiency and automation, as well as platform deployment, configuring, updating, and monitoring our platform on Microsoft Azure;
  • Build and manage tools for developer support, and automated software delivery and testing;
  • Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines;
  • Research new DevOps tools and techniques as appropriate, staying current with industry best practices;
  • Build and maintain internal documentation on properly deploying our platform, and building/managing solutions on our platform;
  • Become an expert on Microsoft Azure and on how to best leverage Azure infrastructure and services for deploying and managing our platform.
