Overview

 

What we are looking for:

The right candidate will have proven expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting large enterprise environments, working with internal customers to distill technical requirements from business requirements, and the quality of ownership to ensure that solutions are delivered to specification from conception to operational hand-off, every time.

What you will do:

• Cloud, Linux-based, and virtualization infrastructure deployment, management, configuration, design, ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting, and ongoing documentation of systems and procedures.
• Responsible for engineering CI/CD pipeline and artifacts management system.
• Actively seeks out new technologies and processes to increase team and company IT efficiencies.
• Participate and report in weekly team meetings and contribute to the overall growth inefficiency of the department.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory of all physical and virtual assets as required by the security and compliance management staff.

What you will bring to the table:

• Education requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS/CIS) or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Years of work experience:
3+ years of experience working in a corporate IT support position supporting internal employees.

• Technical/functional skills

Must-Have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Engineering or SRE.
  • Experience with highly available and highly loaded systems.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux systems.
  • Expertise in any of the existing cloud providers (GCP / Azure / AWS).
  • Experience in virtualization technologies, such as Hyper-V, VMWare.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills (both hardware and software).
  • Intermediate level of English in both written and verbal communication.
  • Understanding of public cloud architectures, technology, and deployments incl. AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Aptitude or competency skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and globally to achieve successful outcomes for complex business objectives
