THE POSITION
Full-time. Freelance. Remote. m/f/d
- You collaborate closely with the CEO on product vision and roadmap.
- You are responsible for the technical side of our Product Management, helping organize and structure the development of the product to ensure that it meets technical requirements and is delivered on time.
- You identify missing information or gaps in our different systems related to product management and provide solutions.
- You manage the communication of the product roadmap to internal and external stakeholders.
- You work closely with the development and QA teams to prioritize product features and ensure they meet technical requirements.
- You write user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.
- You review and test the product features to ensure they meet technical requirements.
- You conduct regular competitor analysis and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Your overall goal should be: to ensure the successful development and delivery of a technically complex enterprise product that meets customer needs and technical requirements.
We seek a talented and experienced Technical Product Owner to help our CEO further develop and advance the existing product and its vision.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 5+ years as Technical Product Owner experience in an independent software vendor, working on Enterprise and/or SaaS applications, ideally in a Data Management related environment
- Strong technical background with the ability to quickly develop deep product knowledge
- Demonstrated skills in analysis, design, product development, and planning
- Strong project management skills and proven ability to generate end-to-end designs – from concept through production detailing
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Experience with data management, product information management, data governance, data warehousing, business intelligence, or data visualization is a plus.
- Experience with Cloud (SaaS) software or Big Data technologies is a plus
- Experience in working in agile teams

- Backend: J2EE application running in a JBoss/WildFly container. It offers the possibility to connect to any kind of data source (databases, web services, text files, etc.) and to query data by using SQL. Persistence layers and internal configurations are delegated to Hibernate.
