Software Engineer (Node.js, Typescript, Svelte)

We are looking for a proactive Middle or Strong Junior Developer with solid Node.js and TypeScript skills, complemented by front-end development experience (preferably using Svelte or similar frameworks). You will participate actively in developing, supporting, and enhancing our existing solutions, collaborating within a dynamic and cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities

Back-end Development (Node.js + TypeScript)

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality code using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Participate in defining and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and bugs.

Front-end Development (Svelte or similar frameworks)

• Develop intuitive, responsive, and efficient front-end interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to transform visual designs into interactive applications.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance across devices.

Full-stack Collaboration & Teamwork

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Actively participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to team members.
• Support continuous improvement and innovation within the development process.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience

• 3-4 years of professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Practical experience with front-end frameworks (Svelte preferred, but similar frameworks such as React or Vue.js are also acceptable).

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with front-end development tools and libraries.
• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is a plus.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and agile methodologies.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills, able to clearly convey ideas to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Collaborative approach and ability to effectively work within cross-functional teams.
• Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate ownership, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Language Skills

• Good written and verbal English skills; fluent in Ukrainian.
