About the company

The Dot Collective is a fast-growing consultancy with a passion for data and cloud. We take pride in the quality of engineering and are industry agnostic although most of our clients tend to be in the Financial Services sector.

We work with all modern tech stacks and typically run agile scrum on all our projects.

We specialize in delivering complex enterprise cloud-native data solutions and we’ve got you covered whether you need just an extra pair of hands or a complete delivery team.

The key clients are Oxford, Cancer Research UK, DirectLine Group, Schroders, Places for People.

Our offices are located in UK and Czech Republic. And if you want to, you can work from the coworking in Warsaw.

The Tech Stack: Python, AWS, Azure, GCP, Spark, Glue and Redshift, SQL.

 

Technical skills required:

  • Proficient with SQL
  • Proficient with either BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, or RDBMS DB such as Oracle, Teradata, SQLServer
  • Good understanding of data modelling
  • Experience with either Azure, GCP, or AWS. AWS is preferred

This role is for:

  • Integration tests: define, build, own, and execute
  • UAT tests: support. Being able to talk with senior stakeholders
  • Unit tests: review, define, build and execute

We have a test manager/ the senior tester will report to them.

The senior tester, being senior is able to deputise for the test manager if needed

Must be able to define the tests – i.e.  able to build the test suite

The work requires to test:

  • Data Marts
  • Data Feeds
  • Tableau Reports (knowledge of Tableau as a user is beneficial
