Responsibilities:

  • Manual and automated testing of the NVC software
  • Working in tight integration with the Front End, Back End and Hardware team
  • Understanding of the NVC product, and future roadmap
  • Understanding of the NPB devices functionality and API
  • Managing locally and remotely loads of different device types with different architectures, firmware versions and locations.
  • Deploying the software and checking connectivity to all the devices
  • Being able to deliver and on-time, sometimes under tight schedules
  • Mentoring younger QA engineers

Requirements:

  • 2 + years of experience in QA of desktop applications (Web based front end)
  • Knowledge of RESTful API – experience in testing Back End endpoint
  • 1+ year experience with automation
  • Multiple system integration testing
  • English — intermediate and higher

Would be a plus:

  • Experience in Python
  • DevOps experience (AWS, Docker, Jenkins, Automation)
  • Linux command line, scripting, administration
  • Experience with Virtual machines operation and deployment (vmWare, VirtualBox)
  • Experience with Networking principles and Networking Hardware management
  • SCM Git, experience with GitHub workflows
  • Selenium (automation)
  • Team leading / Hardware lab management

Project:

Network Visibility Controller – NVC is an enterprise software product (front end & back end) which monitors and controls multiple Networking Packet Broker devices (NPB) through an API.
