Infiniwiz, a leading IT provider in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, is excited to announce an opening for a Lead System Engineer/Tech Lead Engineer. This full-time role is designed for a highly skilled engineer who is well-versed in cloud services, cybersecurity, ing, and systems administration. Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Office 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams Administration, ensuring security and compliance.
  • Administer systems using Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies, ensuring effective backup, disaster recovery, and patch management.
  • Automate and script using PowerShell or Bash, incorporating DevOps practices and tools to streamline operations.
  • Perform networking tasks, ensuring robust TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP configurations, and efficient network troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, including network security, endpoint security, SIEM systems, incident response, and compliance with regulations like HIPAA.
  • Design, implement, and manage virtualization solutions using Hyper-V, VMware, Azure, and AWS cloud services.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks with a customer service orientation.

Qualifications

  • Work experience with a Managed Service Provider (❗️)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, and CCNP or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a Level 3 Engineer role or similar, with a strong technical background.
  • Continuous learning mindset with a commitment to staying updated on the latest technological trends.

  • Has 10+ years of experience in IT
  • A senior specialist who worked at a managed service provider company for several years
  • Has wide area experience
  • Worked on different things (Office 365, server issue, cybersecurity, hardware issue, virtualisation)
  • Local Person (across Chicago area)

Salary range: $130,000 – $150,000 annually.

  • Hybrid opposition (2 times per week in the office, can be fully remote)
  • Working hours: 8:30 – 5 pm
  • Location of the office: 220 N. Smith St, Suite 450, Palatine, IL 60067
  • Role involves travelling to clients across the Chicago area
