Full Remote (Europe) – B2B – Full-Time
The Role
We are looking for a skilled Odoo Developer to take ownership of our live Odoo 18 platform and drive its growth across the company. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be the sole developer, collaborating closely with internal teams (IT, Finance, Marketing, HR, and more) to customize, expand, and optimize our Odoo ecosystem.
Timeline: Ideally starting within 2 weeks
Location: Fully remote within Europe (CEST ± 1 hour)
Allocation: Full-time
Contract length: 6–12 months, with possible extension
Contract type: B2B contract
Responsibilities
- Leading all development activities for our live Odoo 18 platform, focusing on building new features and improving existing functionalities.
- Enhancing the CRM, Sales, and Projects, Employees etc. modules to precisely match our consulting sales cycles and project management methodologies.
- Develop, test, and deploy new, targeted Odoo modules to address specific operational requirements.
- Manage and build upon integrations between Odoo and our other essential business applications.
- Utilize AI coding assistants as a core part of your process to ensure high efficiency and code quality.
- Work directly with our international teams to define requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of professional Odoo development experience, supported by a portfolio of successfully completed projects.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Proficiency in the Odoo framework (ORM, Views, Controllers).
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Demonstrated experience integrating systems using REST APIs.
- Proficient with Git for version control.
- Proactive problem solver having ownership and accountability.
- Interest in leveraging modern tools including AI to improve and optimize development workflows.
- Fluent English
Details
- Main goal: You will be instrumental in helping us set up the Odoo platform internally. For the first couple of months, your main focus will be on setting up customizations, building new features and improving current functionalities to align the platform with our business needs.
- Focus: The role is heavily focused on new development (60% on new feature development and 40% on maintenance and support).
- Integrations: We currently have our CRM for Sales and our Projects module integrated. The plan is to continue this expansion by migrating and integrating our Finance, HR, and Customer Operations into Odoo.
- Team: You will be a single developer working on the setup and management of Odoo platform in our company. They’ll be working with all internal teams (IT, finance, marketing, HR,…)
