🔎 Description:
The Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer is responsible for proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents to support mission-critical platforms. This position will also be responsible for initial troubleshooting of production issues and escalation as necessary, hands-on testing and reporting of incidents. This role requires administrative documentation and clear communication of all issues, including reporting and root cause analysis.
🧑💻 YOU WILL:
• Proactively monitor all production networks, servers, applications, and services, responding to alerts as per established protocols.
• Take full ownership of NOC incidents, managing them from initial detection through to resolution.
• Provide detailed, real-time documentation of incidents and problems for accurate record-keeping.
• Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for systems and NOC operations are consistently met.
• Develop and regularly update knowledge base articles, policies, and procedures to support ongoing NOC activities and best practices.
💪 YOU MUST HAVE:
• Proven experience in 24×7 mission-critical Network or Technical Operations Center environments.
• 2+ years of experience in maintaining, managing and monitoring remote servers in Linux production environments.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing and switching technologies/protocols.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills with attention details.
• Experience with enterprise-class monitoring/management systems such as Nagios, Cacti, Zabbix, etc.
• Must be willing to work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays as required.
• Knowledge of basic SQL and MongoDB Queries.
• Ability to address customer needs promptly, offering solutions or escalating to another support group as necessary.
• Capability to multitask, dynamically adjust priorities, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Good English (not a must) – just to read documentation

• Experience with multiple data center environment.
