Responsibility:

  • Supporting of existing and extending data centres infrastructure: Linux Servers, SAN
    (Dell EMC), Cisco UCS, multi-tiered Cisco Firepower Firewalls, Routers and Switches,
    F5 Load-Balancers, Fraud Prevention and Detection System, VMware/Virtualisation;
  • Working with client Network teams to implement, configure and optimise network
    and services connectivity (e.g. VPN, MPLS, HTTPS, SFTP, SOAP, RESTful APIs);
  • Maintaining, improving and enhancing internal network and infrastructure;
  • Planning all related technical tasks;
  • Management and replacing SSL certificates;
  • 2nd and 3rd level support of network infrastructure issues (diagnose, troubleshoot,
    resolve);
  • Applying a strong focus on system stability, redundancy, security and high-
    availability;
  • System monitoring, auditing, optimization and maintenance of Zoot’s high-
    availability transaction services;
  • Direct interaction with hardware and software suppliers. Zoot maintains premium
    OEM support contracts.

Personal Profile:

  • University degree of computer science or comparable education
  • At least 2 years of experience working on a similar position;
  • Experience in the setup and configuration of servers, virtual servers, SANs, firewalls,
    routers and webservers within a Unix technology stack;
  • Experience with redundant and highly available web-services is welcome;
  • Experience configuring and monitoring VMware vSphere and ESXi;
  • Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification preferred but not essential;
  • Knowledge of data protection, data security;
  • Experience with various data formats (XML, JSON), synchronous and asynchronous
    interfaces, data encryption (PGP);
  • Experience in working with MS Office, Confluence and ticketing systems like JIRA;
  • Accurate and analytical working style with high attention to detail;
  • Upper-intermediate English;
  • Experience in financial services sectors is preferred but not essential
