Required skills:

• 2+ years of experience with Ruby
• Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails framework
• Understanding of OOD and design patterns
• Understanding of REST
• Proficient understanding of Git
• Experience with RDBMS (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Experience of writing unit/integration tests using RSpec
• Understanding of Ajax technology
• Basic Linux skills
• Good communication skills
• English level – intermediate and above

As a plus:

• Experience of developing gems/engines
• Experience of rom-rb, sequel, Redis, RabbitMQ, Rails Event Store
• Experience of JavaScript/CoffeeScript

We launched the first version of our cloud software in July 2010 after two years of development. OnApp Cloud is now the leading cloud platform for the hosting industry, used by hundreds of hosts around the world.

In August 2011 we launched our second major product line, OnApp CDN, bringing affordable, high-end CDN to the hosting industry for the first time.
