ABOUT THE ROLE 

We’re looking for a sharp, data-driven Marketing Operations Specialist to become the connective tissue of  our marketing engine. You’ll own all of our digital channels — website, social, paid, email and beyond — as well as the systems and reporting that power our go-to-market motion — from the moment a lead  first discovers us to the moment it becomes closed revenue. 

This is a high-ownership role. You won’t just maintain the tools — you’ll shape how we acquire, qualify,  and convert pipeline across every digital touchpoint. If you thrive at the intersection of technology, data,  and marketing strategy, this is your seat.

Key Responsibilities 

Digital Channels 

  • Own the full digital channel mix: website, organic and paid social, email, display, and any  emerging channels relevant to our audience. 
  • Develop and maintain a coherent channel strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and  pipeline across the entire funnel.
  • Monitor channel performance and continuously reallocate effort and budget toward the highest impact levers. 

Website, SEO & Web Agency 

  • Own the website — built on WordPress / Divi — as a lead channel, responsible for traffic,  conversion rate, and lead quality end to end. 
  • Drive conversion optimisation (CRO): run structured A/B and multivariate tests on key landing  pages, CTAs, forms, and user journeys to continuously lift conversion rates. 
  • Lead SEO strategy and execution: in-depth keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical  SEO audits, internal linking, and content gap analysis — with a strong bias for continuous  iteration, not one-off projects. 
  • Ensure the site is optimised for Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) — structuring content,  schema markup, and site architecture so that AI-powered search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity,  Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot) surface and cite us accurately. 
  • Maintain and improve AI crawlability and grounding: manage robots.txt, structured data, llms.txt,  and other signals that govern how AI crawlers index and represent our brand in generated  answers. 
  • Act as primary point of contact for our external web agency — briefing, steering, and QA-ing  development and design projects to ensure deliverables are on time, on brief, and aligned with  our marketing and SEO goals. 
  • Implement and maintain tracking (GA4, GTM, pixels) for clean, reliable data flows across all  touchpoints. 

Performance Marketing 

  • Plan, execute, and optimise paid campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, and other key channels.  
  • Own campaign attribution and budget pacing to maximise ROAS. 
  • Build and iterate on audience segments, ad copy tests, and landing page experiments. 

HubSpot — Marketing Hub & CRM 

  • Administer and optimise HubSpot Marketing Hub: workflows, lead scoring, nurture sequences,  forms, and list management. 
  • Maintain CRM data quality — deduplication, field standardisation, and lifecycle stage  management. 
  • Act as the internal HubSpot expert and first point of contact for marketing and sales enablement  needs. 
  • Build and manage integrations between HubSpot and the wider martech stack. 

Reporting — MQLs & SALs 

  • Own performance dashboards covering the full funnel: impressions → MQL → SAL → won  revenue. 
  • Define, document, and maintain MQL and SAL definitions in alignment with Sales leadership.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Identify funnel bottlenecks and surface clear recommendations to leadership. 

PROFILE 

  • 6+ years in a Marketing Operations, Demand Generation, or Growth Marketing role.
  • Proven HubSpot Marketing Hub & CRM expertise — HubSpot certification is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or equivalent) and hands-on  technical SEO experience. (Must-Have) 
  • Hands-on WordPress & Divi experience — comfortable managing pages, templates, and plugins.  (Must-Have) 
  • Hands-on experience with paid media platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
  • Solid grasp of web analytics: GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio or similar.
  • Familiarity with GEO principles — structured data, entity optimisation, llms.txt, and AI-first content  strategy.  
  • Strong analytical mindset — you think in funnels, cohorts, and conversion rates. 
  • Clear communicator who translates data into compelling stories for non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Highly autonomous, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning multiple workstreams  simultaneously.
