Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to develop our testing infrastructure of our AI-driven learning platform from the ground up. You will play a critical role in the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC), focusing on testing, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of our applications. This role requires a deep understanding of quality assurance practices and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web and mobile applications.
  • Contribute to the creation and improvement of QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Generate test reports and provide insights into the quality of releases.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or Software Engineer in test-focused roles.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer, Appium, pytest, JUnit, REST Assured).
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test case management tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and testing AI-driven applications using Evals
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience with performance and security testing.
  • Experience with building automated QA testing frameworks and tools.
