Hiveon is a pioneering umbrella brand that crafts innovative solutions for the future of High-Performance Computing (HPC) businesses. Our journey began in 2017, sparked by a small group of mining enthusiasts focused on solving real-world problems.

That was Hive OS (now Hiveon OS), which exploded and gained immense demand in the mining domain. It attracted 100k+ active users within the first six months without any investments or marketing costs!

Then we expanded it to the eco-system, including Hiveon Pool (the second Ethereum pool in the world in 2021), ASIC Firmware ( helping miners get more out of their devices), and more.

And in 2018, we became the 1st leading global ecosystem for cryptocurrency mining. Since 2021, mining has turned into a corporate investment market, with an estimate of 943 billion in 2022.

Since 2023, we have become an umbrella brand company that also creates separate products for the business in the Enterprise market, where the conditions and efficiency focus are different.

As we continuously expand our range of solutions, we are now seeking to grow our highly skilled team. Currently, we’re in search of Software Developers proficient in Golang to contribute to various projects. If you are really into what you do, choose a product where we can team up to influence the market together.

▪️ General Requirements

  • You have strong general experience in back-end development
  • At least 4 years of experience with Golang and you know its language specifications
  • Commercial experience on high-load systems (from 100,000 RPS)
  • Previous experience in designing complex loaded and distributed systems
  • Extensive experience with Postgres, Redis, Apache Kafka or Nats
  • At least Upper-intermediate level of English
  • A dynamic, flexible, open-minded, initiative, and proactive person with a product mindset

Product #1 — Hiveon AI (GPU, ML)

We’re building a service offering GPU server rentals.

What’s the concept? – Our aim is to decentralize and enhance the democratization of GPU computing, assisting individuals requiring resources for AI and ML-related tasks.

For whom? – Individuals seeking for hardware resources for AI and ML tasks.

Stage: on MVP.

▪️ Will be a plus for a developer for the role on this product:

– Deep knowledge and strong experience in containerization (Docker, Rancher etc).
– You are familiar with GPUs and have a deep understanding of their operation.
– You have experience using GPUs directly or renting them to run your own models.
– You possess a keen interest in understanding how ML and AI tasks operate on hardware.

Product #2 — Hiveon Dev (Cloud 3.0)

We are creating a deployment and developer process management tool, a kind of Cloud 3.0, where you can handle deployments without needing to work with major providers.

What unique problem does this product solve? – DevOps has become very complicated and costly. We aim to offer a tool that enables indie hackers and small businesses to manage tasks manually, visually, and conveniently, with additional features that can be used on any provider at a lower cost. This serves as a comprehensive solution compared to alternative options.

For whom? – Indie hackers and small businesses.

Stage: on MVP

– In-depth knowledge and experience with Docker
– A background in DevOps is advantageous
– Familiarity with Nomad and open container management systems (e.g., k3s, Rancher)
– A strong desire to contribute to distribution efforts
