We are looking for skilled Software Engineers with a product mindset! 

Ukraine&Abroad | Full-Time | Full-stack | Remote | up to $7460

About the role

We’re growing two teams and looking for skilled Software Engineers with a product mindset to join either:

  • Plug&Play (Mid+ and above) — owns Git integrations, remote content, AI infrastructure, and webhooks. We’re looking for someone with at least some experience or solid conceptual understanding of how modern AI/LLMs work (prompting, embeddings, RAG, agent/tool-use patterns, or similar) — you don’t need to be an ML engineer, but you should be comfortable reasoning about and building around LLM-based features.
  • Borshch (x1, Senior) — our infrastructure team, skewed toward backend, cloud infrastructure, deployment, and DevOps. We’re looking for someone hands-on with AWS and Terraform, who’s comfortable moving between backend development and infrastructure/DevOps responsibilities.

Both teams work on real product features end-to-end — architecture, implementation, testing, and monitoring — with strong ownership over their area.

What you’ll do

  • Design the architecture for your team’s area (AI infrastructure & integrations for Plug&Play; cloud infrastructure & deployment for Borshch)
  • Lead full-stack feature development — from API design to UI/backend implementation
  • Write reusable code and internal libraries
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability
  • Solve bugs across the stack
  • Cover functionality with tests and monitoring
  • Work closely with product, design, and engineering peers
  • Contribute across all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Bring fresh ideas and suggest new technologies relevant to your team

Who you are

  • 4+ years of experience as a full-stack or backend engineer (Mid+ for Plug&Play, Senior for Borshch)
  • Strong proficiency with Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Experience with NestJS
  • Experience with Postgres
  • Comfortable owning a feature or system end-to-end, including architectural decisions
  • Strong communication — you share your thinking and ask questions proactively
  • A team player who puts the mission ahead of individual preference
  • Beauty and simplicity of your code
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher English

Important, depending on the team:

  • For Plug&Play: some experience or working knowledge of modern AI/LLMs
  • For Borshch: hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform (or similar infrastructure-as-code tools), and a DevOps mindset — happy to own deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and system reliability

Nice to have

  • GraphQL
  • Cloud experience (AWS) — required for Borshch, a plus for Plug&Play
  • Infrastructure as code (Terraform, HashiCorp)
  • Experience with vector databases or LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS)
  • Familiarity with observability tooling (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)

Perks

  • Salary: up to $7460 gross, depending on level

P.S. 🤝 Для українців про гіг-контракт

Формат співпраці за гіг-контрактом дуже подібний до моделі ФОП, з якою ви вже знайомі.

Оскільки компанія є резидентом Дія.City, наразі ми можемо запропонувати співпрацю або:

  • за гіг-контрактом — для осіб, що перебувають в Україні або закордоном, або
  • за трудовим договором (employment) — для осіб, що перебувають в Україні, або
  • В2В співпраця з американською ентіті компанії на підставі локального індивідуального підприємництва — для осіб, що перебувають закордоном.

Гіг-контракт — це проміжний формат між ФОПом та традиційним працевлаштуванням.

Спільне з ФОП:

  • Низьке податкове навантаження: 5% єдиного податку + 5% військового збору з доходу
  • ЄСВ сплачує компанія окремо, не утримується з вашої компенсації
  • Гнучкість: незалежний надавач послуг, без жорсткої регламентації трудового договору, можна працювати з будь-якої локації
  • Компанія не подає інформацію про гіг-контракторів до ТЦК; питання військового обліку — особиста відповідальність контрактора

Важливо:

  • Податки та звітність веде бухгалтерія компанії
  • Виплата — у гривні, net, з фіксацією суми в доларах США за курсом НБУ на останній робочий день місяця
  • Відпустка закріплюється в договорі відповідно до законодавства, з можливістю домовитись про більше
  • Є можливість бронювання, але лише на 50%. Наразі всі місця заброньованих зайняті, тому нові кандидати потрапляють у список очікування, і бронювання відбувається поступово, по мірі звільнення місць. Тобто в перспективі така можливість є, але якщо для вас критично мати бронювання з першого ж дня — на жаль, цього ми гарантувати не можемо.
