What we do:

In Peoly, we build custom software solutions and boost clients’ engineering capacity by augmenting their existing teams or providing dedicated teams for their projects. We are headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic, and have two R&D centres in Ukraine.

We’re looking for a software engineer to join our team. We are looking for someone that wants to bring engineering best practices to the full machine learning lifecycle from cloud infrastructure to data processing and modeling to deploying machine learning models.

We are looking for a software engineer with experience in machine learning or the desire to learn about ML. We provide oportunity to work on variety type of projects from video/image processing, through audio processing to NLPs.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Build end-to-end machine learning solutions
  • Working with large scale data processing
  • Working daily with data scientists and researchers on topics from data visualization to data processing to writing / optimazing model code for production environment
  • Maintaining R&D and/or production environments
  • 90% – Backend
  • Optimazing model inference for production
  • Bridging gaps between data science and production software systems
  • Build the solutions which helps researchers to scale their models in a production environment
  • Work cross-functionally across multiple partner teams to get new features shipped across our many interfaces

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is familiar with machine learning and its applications in industry.
  • Understands data structures and algorithms at a level sufficient to write an optimized code when working with large datasets or large incoming data streams
  • Desire to learn about machine learning and big data
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with containers (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, etc.)

English: at least Intermediate

Stack: Python, ML, AI, Clouds, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Computer Vision, Open CV, Docker

Team: 2-5 people, depending on the project. Usually, we have: Data Scientist, ML engineer, Front End and UX expert, 2 Backend developers, DevOps

Salary: up to $6000

Bonus:

  • Experience with cloud AI services or other ML platforms
  • Experience working on a machine learning team
